Named testimonials are gold. Start digging now.

You can’t beat a recommendation for getting new business and testimonials are the nearest thing you can get to a recommendation. They must, of course, be named testimonials and preferably state the name of the company or town the testimonial giver is from because it gives added legitimacy to the statement. Unnamed testimonials are useless. But genuine testimonials are excellent at building trust in potential new customers. They are particularly powerful for business to business situations because if you include the company name, the testimonial can be verified, which gives them added impact.

All you have to do now is ask your customers for them. You’ll be surprised how willing satisfied customers are to provide a testimonial.
